Emeco Travel is a leading travel company in Egypt, offering comprehensive travel services to individuals, groups, and corporations. In the 35 years since its inception, Emeco established itself as a pioneer in introducing incentive travel to the region. Since then it has expanded to become the premier travel organization and Destination Management Corporation in Egypt.

About the Chairman
Emeco was founded in November 1976 by Mr. Elhamy ElZayat, the present Chairman and CEO of the entire Emeco Group. It is under his leadership that Emeco has grown to what it is today.
In addition to his Emeco role, Mr. ElZayat is a Board Member of the Holding Company for Tourism and Cinemas and Arabian Hotel Media Production City and a General Assembly Member of Egypt Air and Egypt Airport Authorities. Formerly, he was Chairman of the Egyptian Tourism Federation, Euromic, and the Egyptian Travel Agents Association.

Awards recognizing Mr. ElZayat’s leadership include the Academy Award 2005 from IMEX, the Twentieth Century Achievement Award 2000 and Man of the Year 1997 from the American Biographical Institute, World Peace through Tourism 1997 from American Express & Reed, and Personnalite de l`Année 1993 " Distinction International " Tourisme from the French government and the New Zealand Award of Merit on June 4, 2007.

Emeco’s responsive staff possesses vast experience and is fully trained to serve our valued customers’ around-the-clock needs. Our more than 250 multilingual travel experts regularly undergo both local and overseas training.

We operate our offices seven days a week, 365 days a year, from 09h00 through 17h00 daily. For 24-hour-a-day service, we offer an emergency hotline service as well as in person assistance at our office at the Cairo International Airport.
