Incentive is now back to Egypt
Emeco Travel has seen an upsurge in Meetings and Incentives business to Egypt in recent months. The tour operator, which also operates a dedicated team building division - Biz-Events Egypt - franchised from Biz-Events Dubai, has arranged a number of high profile events in 2011. These have included two Chariot Challenges for Schlumberger of Germany and three back-to-back incentive groups for a multinational oil company.
The Chariot Challenge saw Emeco create a program that pulled on the roles and responsibilities often found in a corporate work group.
Teams were provided with an unusual set of equipment including flat cardboard, cardboard rolls, tape, tie-wraps, cutting tools and the all important blueprints. Their challenge was to build a Roman chariot that can be raced to win the Champion’s Chalice.
Everyone had a rewarding role to play in keeping the team in the race, whether they built, designed, decorated or drove the chariot.
Emeco also welcomed three back-to-back groups for a multinational oil company in May.
Each of the three groups enjoyed the same itinerary, which included a 4x4 jeep safari to Abou Galoum to explore the Sinai Mountains, ending with a BBQ lunch under a white tent overlooking the sea. The groups also went on a sea trip on board two sailing boats to explore Taba’s tropical reefs.
To finish, the groups enjoyed a gala dinner at Castle Zaman, which is located on the top of the hill overlooking the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aqaba.
