Introduction

Emeco launched in 1976 and by 1979 had already placed itself and Egypt firmly on the map for incentive travel and live events following the stage management of a product launch that saw none other than Frank Sinatra perform live in concert at the foot of the Sphinx.

Since then, Emeco has continued to work as a pioneer for the incentives industry in Egypt. In 1984 we worked in association with Euromic to conduct a special training programme on the importance of the incentives industry, inviting in Government Officials and more than 250 travel professionals in a bid to raise the bar on incentive travel in Egypt. The objective of this training programme was to show why incentive groups need to receive a unique travel experience and to work towards placing the country on the ‘wish list’ of incentive planners and attendees the world over. We continue to work as industry pioneers, constantly training our staff and upgrading our services. We strive to maintain the number one spot for incentive travel in Egypt and want to be the benchmark for this type of travel programme for other companies. Through our global network of offices, and by the constant hard work, determination and travel of our senior management to promote Egypt, we hope to continue to welcome an increasing number of incentive groups to our mesmerizing country.
